     It is the first day of September. Leaves are starting change colors, kids are playing, oh and what's that noise, 1.5 million German forces march into Poland. Germany is invading Poland to reclaim lost land from WWI. This move would cause a huge disaster.  In one month Germany took over Poland causing England and France to declare war on Germany. The invasion of Poland caused a huge problem. This invasion caused a war to start, WWII. England and France jumped into action before other countries because they had and alliance with Poland and they had seen what WWI had caused. The invasion of Poland was a huge problem and you are probably wondering why it started. One big reason the invasion of Poland happened was because of the Treaty of Versailles. This treaty said Germany had to give back huge amounts of land, money, and Germany couldn't make an army bigger than 100,000 men. How Did World War II Start and why?

  It was September 1st 1939 about 1.5 million German troops gathered at the border of Poland. With thousands of planes and thousands of tanks ready to go. In about a month Germany swept through Poland capturing it. This caused France and England to declare war on Germany.      Many things led up to this but one big cause is the Treaty of Versailles. The Treaty of Versailles was signed at the end of World War I. It put harsh rules on the Germans. It said Germany owed tons of land and money to the places they attacked. Germany didn’t have enough money to pay back, and the other countries were sympathetic to them so some of the money wasn't paid back. Since Germany was poor and destroyed because of World War I the people were looking for a good leader to fix the country.
