WWII Problems

It is the first day of September. Leaves are starting change colors, kids are playing, oh and what's that noise, 1.5 million German forces march into Poland. Germany is invading Poland to reclaim lost land from WWI. This move would cause a huge disaster.

In one month Germany took over Poland causing England and France to declare war on Germany. The invasion of Poland caused a huge problem. This invasion caused a war to start, WWII. England and France jumped into action before other countries because they had and alliance with Poland and they had seen what WWI had caused.

The invasion of Poland was a huge problem and you are probably wondering why it started. One big reason the invasion of Poland happened was because of the Treaty of Versailles. This treaty said Germany had to give back huge amounts of land, money, and Germany couldn't make an army bigger than 100,000 men. Germany didn’t want to give back the land  but they had to.  When Hitler got into control he created a huge military with an army much bigger than 100,000 people, and he took the land back.

The Axis (Germany, Japan, and Italy) took over many other countries during the war. They bombed cities and towns until there was nothing left. One example was Stalingrad it was bombed and destroyed so much that people were living in sewer systems. World War II caused millions of deaths and billions of dollars to repair but now countries that were in ruble such as France, Germany, and Japan are rebuilt. Although WWII caused many problems there were also many solutions.

  1. I loved your blog. I think the picture really pulled everything together. I'm wondering what some of the solutions were.

  2. That's so cool that you know so much about WWII. I can't believe that the townsfolk had to live in the sewers when there town got bombed.
